The first card is dealt face-up. Next, the player to the left of the big blind is dealt a card. Depending on the rules of the game, this may be a raise or a check.<\/p>\n
If the hand is a pair, it means that the two cards are of equal rank. To determine which pair is better, the player should compare the second card of each pair.<\/p>\n
If there are more pairs that are of equal rank, a higher card is chosen. The winner is the player with the higher card.<\/p>\n
To win the pot, the best hand is the one that combines the highest card with the lowest flush. A five of a kind can beat a straight flush. In the case of a tie, the high card is used to break the tie.<\/p>\n
